Hi all

I have just booked flights with Delta to Canada from Melbourne, flying VA MEL-LAX and then DL the rest of the way. Using the seat select tool on the Delta website, it seems I was able to select PE seats for the MEL-LAX and LAX-MEL flights with VA, at seemingly no extra charge.

Does this mean I scored PE for free, or am I to assume that I will be asked the following question at check-in in MEL: "Hello sir, I see you have selected a PE seat for tonight's flight. You are aware that there is an additional charge for these seats?"

I think it's probably a bug. The most likely option is that you will end up sitting somewhere else unless you're a little lucky! good luck though.
