Nup!

From recent experience, if you have a 'rogue', then 1B/E & 2B/E show as selectable/occupied seats these days.

Thanks, so what aircraft do I have then ?

I agree to a point!

Hot dogs need to be changed, yes they will say they are popular but given there is not much else in the MEL lounge.......

Party Pies should be permanent during dinner, hot dogs can stay, but a chicken curry rice should be standard as well

Had the chicken cashew curry at Melbourne this evening which was quite decent. Good thing too because my 5pm flight was an 'afternoon snack' flight...

So what have people on an old valued J redemption fare been getting in compo where the points spend was 6900 + pay? Its not like I'm going to be able to book the flight again for two people at that rate :/

Looks like the 737 700's will be making a comeback with business class in late jun/early july
with VBV, VBU, VBZ, VBY all getting the full business class cabin makeover,

VBO, VBL, VBP are leaving the fleet later in the year and will not be getting refurbished

So still up to six months with the lottery on the 737s....

Any update on the Embraer 190 refurb... Whilst J class food, the seats are the same as those that are not business in the 700s.

I thought they started refurbishing them back in march/april.

Re: Virgin Business Class Lottery - Pay for Business, get Premium Economy! Now 0 for

VBO, L and P will be retired by August.

Why is this ?

Deferring 738's ?
More capacity needed ?

LOL, considering they are wet leasing F100s I don't think they are deferring anything.

So why are they keeping the 700's then ? Up until now they were going going going... now some are staying.

VA typically turn over there 737 fleet when they hit ten years. The 4 newest -700s range in age from five to seven years old. It was always intended that these four were going to be around for a few more years.

I can't think of anything more appropriate than someone named 737NG contributing this fact. Thank you, Sir!

Also VBY and VBZ are owned by the airline not leased. So these could be around for awhile unless sold.

Gents, I have a MEL-BNE-MEL next saturday booked in J. The plane types says 737-800.

Have logged into my booking to select seat and noticed that it 1 - 1 and 1 - 1 configuration for both my flights. This would mean Premimum Economy yes? Not what I booked...

Could you post a picture? Sound more Like an E190 with the old PE seats.

Try a sample new booking for the same date and see what the aircraft the booking engine currently lists for that same flight.

So my first downgrade onto the E-Jet over the weekend with the 2-2 seating

No phone call
No apology

Will sit back and wait and see if I get anything

Did you receive business class service?

Did you receive business class service?

Orange juice or water as welcome - No mocktail
Yes the meal was the business class evening snack - Cheese, crackers, and a frozen muffin

Seat was too small, limited recline - That's my issue
