I need some help from you guru's out there as I keep hitting a brick wall.

I flew on Virgin Australia flight recently and had my Privilege Club number included in the reservation. Of course, no Avios were attributed to my account.

I have filed a "Missing Avios" form and as usual, the team at Qatar get back to you really quickly. But they haven't seemed to understand my issue.

I have provided all the requested information, including boarding pass. I checked in online and received a digital boarding pass via apple wallet (as I always do on VA). It seems that Privilege Club don't recognise this as a boarding pass and keep asking me to provide one. I've explained it is a digital boarding pass but the response is just "please provide us with a copy of the boarding pass".

I'm going around in circles and getting nowhere. Any bright ideas?

Have you tried doing a screenshot of your digital boarding pass and sending it to them? I am also keen to hear how it went as I got some avios and need a little more for a flight redemption andwas thinking of using a Virgin flight to earn them.

I’ve sent the digital boarding pass on three separate occasions, along with my booking reference number and the actual ticket number.

On each occasion they respond “please send a copy of the boarding pass” and refuse to acknowledge that the digital boarding pass is a thing.

The last time I sent QF, SQ and VA passes to show they are a thing and got the standard response “please send a copy of the boarding pass”.

I gave up and lodged a claim with velocity and was credited for the flight in literal minutes.
