Virgin Australia Business Class - Meals, Menus & Service

Can confirm the bread roll is back! (At least on MEL - PER). VA697 30/6/25, 2045 departure. Had the chickpea masala with optional tandoori chicken. Super flavourful, would definitely recommend. The other option was the beef ragu with gnocchi and veg and it looked good. Plenty of top ups when requested along with getting some extra sweet stuff from the pantry.

Flying OOL - MEL recently I opted for a parmi upon recommendation by the cabin crew. Quite heavily seasoned compensating for the altitude, but a satisfying option. Went with a 'virgin' beverage option due to indulging in the Balter XPAs in the lounge

Back PER - MEL on 3/6 on VA692 delayed out due to torrential storms and lightning in Perth by a half hour or so. Pam looked after us in the J cabin which was in the old configuration with the older seats and the purple divider. The new menu launched in late May must not be in effect out of the Perth caterers as neither of the two meals are on the new menu - a pasta with chorizo and vegetables, and then a chicken miso noodles. Had the pasta and it was tasty, especially with the bread roll. Had a big weekend in Perth so could only manage the PDB bubbles and half a glass of shiraz 🤣

Also had this ex OOL, no other choice.
Very tough, could not cut it, sweet potato stuck to the plate.

Had a liquid lunch (bourbon) instead.
