Hi all

I have just registered on the Virgin Atlantic FF Pgm (prompted by the Amex offer of 20% more points for any transfers).

My intention is to book some return Business Class (I think that they call it Upper Class) seats to London for me and the Mrs. I have no specific dates in mind as I am currently doing advanced research into the trip.

Just wondering how easy or difficult it is to get these seats based on other peoples experiences.

My research with QF is that these seats are quite rare (even 350 days in advance) and was hoping that Virgin Atlantic would be easier.

Many thanks for your help.

I booked a HKG-SYD FF ticket in Upper Class for December 07 in Mar 07 and when I booked it there were only 2 dates in December with seats available - one at the start of the month, the other I think was somewhere near Christmas. At the same time I check Nov availability and I think there were also only 2 dates available.

Hi Zig

Thanks for the feedback.

Did you get the dates that you wanted or did you have to very flexible?

Flying Fox

I had to be a bit flexible, ended up flying back to Syd about 3 days earlier than I wanted to. Good luck. I'd be interested in hearing how you get on, as I'm not sure whether to transfer any more points across to them whilst the 20 % offer is on.
