Is there a trick to posting in the referral thread? I'm getting a little message saying I haven't got sufficient posting privileges. Maybe I'm too new?

Edit: worked it out, yep too green. Guess I'll just chill here instead and enjoy the wine :)
Wow, I've never looked at the VM referral thread before... it's fascinating. How would you choose which of the numerous ppl offering a code to go with?

Can anyone shed light on the Reschke wines that VM seem to have been flogging constantly for the last 6 months or so? Is the Empyrean Cab Sav 2014 worth the pricetag? I can't manage to find anthing outside VM that substantiates the quality of the wine. A has-been winery dumping old stock or a good buy?

Very eager for a code tonight if anyone happens to have one =)
Try this thread. I posted a coupon here but the mods moved it to this thread.

I have recently tried my Empyrean Cab Sav 2010 that I purchased from VM and it was superb. If offered again I’d buy without hesitation. But I haven't tried 2014

I've posted my experience on this one last year as i opened the 2014 for myself, very much enjoyed it, just used a code to buy another 6 pack just then for the VIM offer.

Some others mentioned the 2010 or 2012 was very good as well (for the empyrean).

Presume it’s this one on VM?

I Bought this a while ago and found a couple of bottles left in the cupboard yesterday.

We had one last night and I thought it was delicious.

So much that I found a code and went back for another six pack just now..

Under $20 delivered.

Does this have the same scuttlebutt as the RSR? Or genuinely aged?

I think the RSR is a fuller, stronger taste, although the Bos is also very nice. But I think the scuttlebutt is centred around the CW purchase of the Reschke brand, so encompassing all their labels. I'm not sure what to make of it. I have tried the 2012, 2014, 2015 RSRs and while I defer to the expertise here about the freshness of the corks, they were all good drinking.

Thanks, ill pass on this one I reckon, couldn't get into the RSR.

Any ideas here:

It's this.

No name winery, Sam Kim score, dodgy website. I'm tempted just to try a bottle (and send the rest back if no good), just cause I haven't purchased for a while.

Though we do have a review from the well known master of wine below, he's twisted my arm!

"This is some quality oak work, what a ripper wine" – Pete, wine buyer.
