I got an email from my Broker offering what I am guessing is this, for $15. Looks reasonable, but yea another winery I am not familiar with. Can anyone recommend?

Yeah, me too… am tempted, but couldn’t find too much in the way of reviews either.

I've had my ups and downs with d'Arenberg over the years, I remember getting all excited over opening a bottle of their "The Love Grass" Shiraz quite a few years back for a birthday dinner and it was the most insipid, watery swill imaginable... (pretty sure it was under stelvin so not a cork issue).

We went to the d'Arenberg cube on our trip to McLaren Vale and the whole line up was very uninspiring. As the matter of fact we all thought that their cheap Riesling was the nicest wine. We asked to try the Dead Arm shiraz (2017) and it was underwhelming also.

Yes it's a bit unsettling when you have your expectations dashed by the reality of the situation, d'Arenberg perhaps have dropped the ball and the aging wunderkind at the helm Chester Osborn is more turned on by architecture and constant label re-jigs than the wine itself.
