Vinomofo Wine Deals

Looks like Henry's Drive Magnus shiraz is back with the new vintage 2015. It will go up to $29.90 after preorder period I think.

Currently$25.50 RRP$85

I cant see much online about a 2015 vintage. It does seem like the stats match.
The 2014 is pretty good, hmmmm is it a buy 🤔

The description is word for word, so that’s why I assume we think it’s the same wine? I’m thinking about it too. Almost out of the Heathcote Estate 2014/2015 that I picked up a few years ago and I need another “dad’s coming over” occasion wine, a step above the $12.50. By now I’ve given up on them getting that again.

VM price seems reasonable. Tasting notes don't quite seem to match the median score. Sounds like a decent by at the price currently offered, but in no way sounds like a $100 champagne that VM think it is.

Any steers on this one (and thanks in advance, I'm a first time poster)? For 'well-known' vineyard I think Malakoff, but I'm probably overthinking it!

First offered September 10 2020.
Possibly Kellybrook Malakoff Vineyard Pyrenees Range Shiraz, but not confirmed on my Forum.

Thanks, redbigot. Great if it is the Kellybrook - I like their Yarra Valley wines so keen to see what they do with Pyrenees fruit.

Black Market Deal 36253. From one of the Barossa's best wineries says the Vinomofo blurb. 2015 vintage, 14.5% alcohol, cork stopper Vinomofo says $12.50 but $25 from producer. Medium bodied GSM.

Any ideas what it could be?

Not really enough info.
Best guess is Ch Tanunda Grand Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre.
If you phone VM and ask they will tell you yay or nay and probably tell you what it is if it's not that.

This seems a good price for a quaffer with some age. No 2015 reviews on vivino but 2014 rates a 4.0 from 104 reviews.

Anything I may be missing here? I’ve read this is their bottom tier Shiraz. The 2015 Beacon (top tier) is rated 4.2 and the 2015 Wrecked (mid tier) is 4.1.

I’ve boomed based on those numbers and the returns policy!

I searched this thread and didn't managed to find anything for this one - surprising because it looks like a decent buy (even if the discount isn't that much). Anyone know what it is?
