Thanks. Strange, I had Pinot, 94-100pts, Adelaide Hills, $21-$25 and it didnt come up, yet when I did a direct search it appeared.

Anyway, I had already ordered a couple of cases......just nice to know.

Edit. It appears to be priced at $20 on WC.
 
I don't have to check my calendar any more to find out when it's Friday. All I need to do is look at the email I get from Vinomofo:

anyone know which hunter semillon this is?

Herein lies the 'fo achilles heel.
Was seeking some Sem , and looked carefully at the vm spiel when it arrived.
I am really tired of the 'fo gamble, I have had some great deals , some dud's and some so so, but I am sick of the chase trying to save a $
Decided to pay double the vm price for a sem from Boccacio ( Thomas Braemore '15)
 
While I am here, a confession …..:confused:
While so many regular posters and purchasers here have been "de-vim-ed" , I remain AND have free postage.
Doesn't make any sense at all .
In my dotage , I am drinking less, buying less, becoming pickier and buying wines with clear provenance.
I have bought little from the 'fo this year .
Conceptually I remain a loyal vim.. but they mostly just don't hit my spot.
Qaz on the other hand………. :cool:

I tried that a few weeks back without success, so I boomed when they reappeared last Friday with free shipping. Very happy, it's lovely.

Interested to know which secret deal sems from hunter valley have been duds? This wine is Margan White Label. Absolute bargain. Should be better than the 15 that they were selling a while ago.

There are very few "secret" deals that are not identified very quickly.
I very seldom buy if I'm not sure what it actually is, but the returns process is easy too and I've used it a number of times, even when I knew what the wine was before I bought.

I'm still a free-freight VIM, but only because I buy a bit of the cheaper reds to mix up as quaffer packs for friends, less for myself these days.

Hopefully they still have some tomorrow when I call. Missed all the talk of Amelia Park recently. Visited the winery in February - both the cellar door and restaurant were very impressive (would have cost millions), as was the wine. Managed to smash my tasting glass at the cellar door - oops! I blame my one year old who I was holding at the time! Meant to let VM broker know to call me if some cane in but have overlooked.

Does anyone know whether the Ironstone export wine is the same as the Amelia Park estate (not Reserve) local wine?

According to their website it is the same wine sold under an export label

are we sure this one is margan? They have white label on their site - 2016 vintage slated as "New Release" and $30/bottle
