I don't think you'll find $50 common.

Since I started using CellarTracker ~5 years ago, I've bought 45 bottles of Meshach, at an average cost of $66. $50 is possible, but not common. $65-70 is a far more common 'good deal', and I've paid up to ~$80 for the better vintages.

The 2012 got pretty poor reviews on the Wine Front, so I'm avoiding this until someone I trust has reviewed/tasted it.
5 times in the last 6 months from 3 different sellers I've purchased different vintages for under $60 including as low as $45. I'd call that common.

Thanks for sharing at the time.

Who did you buy from?
Langtons, multiple times, this was shared on AFF from memory. Although not by me. I found out about those offers from other AFF members. BWS, which was also shared. The other purchases were from private shop fronts where I bought every bottle on offer so there was no point in sharing that info.

I've stayed away from the 2012. 89 from memory on WF. I generally like the wine but also dubious re 2012. No other reviews on line that I could find which is always a concern.

Love to hear from anyone who's purchased and tried the 2012 from Fo or elsewhere.

Beat me to it Rob (if I can call you that:)) I think it's the latest vintage of Haselgrove The Lear but I could easily be wrong, I'm sure someone will chime in with the salient info....

Was that the Lear?
Yep the 16, I hadn’t had any of the previous years to compare, just didn’t like that one. From memory it was lacking in fruit and tannin balance and no real spice to mention, i am no expert though to me it was almost like it was over oaked (if that’s possible?)
