Had no issue with the cork in the one bottle of 2005 I've opened so far. 2006 was a much bigger wine for me:

...thanks mate, agree with your description, almost a terracotta hue in the decanter. I decanted mine for about 40 mins beforehand so didn't get any of the unusual pungency you described.

Not sure when Savitar went screwcap, but the 04, 05, 06, 07 are all cork.

Edit: looks like 2008 was the first year they started using Stelvin (according to pictures on Mitolo's website)

I had originally ordered on 18 June a 'Premium Black Market Reds Dozen' @ $159, but despite several confusing messages 'it's shipped/it will ship/its delayed' eventually someone rang me from Vinomofo advising it would not ship, and I could have a refund,
or,
take the new Shiraz dozen,"which is actually better", now costing $165, but I could have it at the same price plus a $20 apology credit.

Fair enough. 12 quaffers at $11.60 each. Beats shopping at BWS.

The recent Clare Valley 2015 Riesling turns out to be "Auburn Hills", by Mitchell. Will try it soon when the warmer days come. I like the idea that my $9 riesling comes handpicked from a 5 red star family-owned winery. But then the riesling's in the drinking.

Alpine Valleys plus history on VM would imply the Durif is Gapsted, although the rrp is not the same as the previous vintage and I can't find any reference to the 2015

Thank you for replying. Any ideas on the Pyrenees Shiraz, I'm hoping to find something similar to Glenlofty shiraz as we really enjoyed this drop.

I've been trying to work out a couple of these as well, I think the Heathcote Shiraz 2015 RRP $36 $11.00 might be 6 Parallels Syrah. There isn't a lot to go on though so a lot of this is based soley on the description containing rain, weather and meteorologist. The price is wrong so I'm not very confident.
