Vinomofo Wine Deals

Dans also had it on a good sale a while ago.

FYI - Lamont's in Cottelsoe (WA) are selling the 2012 Wynns BL CS at $23.95/bottle

Im guessing the current Coonawarra Cab Secret Deal is Wynns Black Label? $22.50 is an okay price, has anyone seen it cheaper?

Wasn't the poor price of this item discussed a few weeks ago when this item was offered for the first time?

Thought it was the Shiraz not the Cab Sav, which is marginally cheaper than the Cab. Also I think it was based on the $170 deal including the Saltram no1 which made it a more enticing offer than just a 6 pack on it's own. At $22.50 plus free delivery if you used the coupon code it's not that bad a deal.

Shelmerdine Merindoc Shiraz Magnums 2009. First time a 3 pack of magnums has been offered?

Can anyone remember the price that the 750ml version of this was offered at (last year?)?

That was the shiraz. This is cab sab, but yes very poor discount.

My mistake.

But this is still a poor discount. Why would you want to be locked into a case of this (a great long lived wine as it is), when you could get it cheaper at DM (on special price of $25 + 15% discount with WISH card + cash back)?

New vintage is coming soon - so there will be plenty of specials available.

See Davegus from Oct 2014. $20.40

I saw that info, but was it exactly the same wine though? 2009?

If it is the same, this is a very bad deal. IE. $68 for a magnum versus $20.40 for the 750 ml. So more than 3 times the price for 2 times the wine.

I do expect to pay a small premium for a larger sized bottle, but this is excessive.

Firstly it is only a sixer, not a case, and secondly I find it to be good value at $27 let alone $22.50. I agree it is not a fantastic saving but still decent enough for me to warrant a purchase. I paid more for it when it was first released and was happy, now at $5 a bottle cheaper, I am even happier ;)
