Vinomofo Wine Deals

Not surprised. Vinomofo rarely offer quality aged released reds at reasonable prices. Last year they had some 2000 - 2004 Darenberg Coppermine Road, which I jumped all over.

i have a dozen of the 2009 vintage. didn't get any when the 2000-2004 was on offer coz the rating wasn't as good as the 2009.

I'd have to double check my books, but from memory one of the reasons the 2009 was offered so cheaply (multiple times) by Vinomofo is because it was rated poorly.

they were roughly around the same price. if i remember correctly the older vintages were a few dollars more.

and 17% alcohol for a table wine is a bit of a joke.

Nope...far from it. There are some great wines with this alcohol content. Check the Rutherglen region for example.

And you might want to consider the Sparky Marquis 2010 Mollydooker Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz, which was featured by Vinomofo last year. It's in the 16% range. Had one this week. Great. Not planning on opening another for at least 10 years.

I didn't see an email with St.G. Was it a VIM only. I don't seem to get those anymore.

It's under Secret deal.
Look for $70 to $31.50, Coonawarra.
Merry go round, currently on dark side of moon, should be visible again. Unless sold out, highly unlikely.

After disappeared for a day, the "Selling Fast" mof_ CONTRABAND DEAL Barossa GSM 2013 (probably Maverick Twins) is on again! :D

Still there, just grabbed a case - hopefully a tasty drop at a bargain price.
Also took a punt on the mof_ SECRET DEAL Sauvignon Blanc 2014 from Adelaide Hills - been loving their Sauv Blancs lately, the Kyrenia was really nice.

That'll be the Tomich Woodside. Got some a few months back, really nice.

Can anyone help with the flagship Cabernet? I've searched the thread but didn't find anything, though I'm on my phone which makes it a little difficult.

Thanks
