Vinomofo Wine Deals

I liked it, pretty good for $12. I preferred their Vintage Perle Rose which was $15 but I haven't seen for a while, everyone who tried it liked it too

Only tried the Vintage Perle Rose - quite like it and would buy more if / when it comes up again

You're right, with details like these it's very easy to work out:

"TECHNICAL DETAILS
Alc/Vol 14.8 %
Acidity 6.7 g/L
pH 3.53
Residual Sugar 0.3 g/L"

I'm out though, it's not enough of a saving for me, give DM have it for $38.

Even Devil's Lair store have it for $225/6 from $300

A 33% discount on DM doesn't tempt you? Odd - pretty sure most of the other deals at VM aren't more of a discount over DM pricing. Most are less IME

Nope. Especially not when I have to buy a whole case. It's a poor deal. Much better discounts to be had.

Hello all winelovers,

Newbie here and i'd like to know any idea of BlackMarket Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir 2012 $15 from $50? Would that be Tomich Hill Pinot Noir in few pages back ? TIA

Not sure if this has already been posted, but for anyone interested this turned out to be the Chain of Ponds Morning Star Pinot Noir 2012.

Can't see the 2012 for sale elsewhere. 2010 available from the maker.

I am starting to get the feeling that a good 93 HJ review is worth gold to VM and if there is no review, things stagnate. As far as I am concerned, anything that sells for over twenty five dollars normally 'should be' eminently drinkable - with exceptions of course. These being my recent Witchmount purchases of the shiraz and chardonnay. The shiraz was thin, bitter, and was the antithesis of the gilded lily tasting notes -IMHO - and certainly not worth the late thirtees price tag. It could have been a forty two bucker, getting into semi-serious coin. The chardonnay was a little more bearable, but when a two dollar forty nine bucker from aldi tastes better, you have to avail yourself of the fantastic VM return policy. But as someone wrote here recently, a little surprise for an unknown vino with a great return policy isn,t a bad thing every now and again. And someone recently inquired about too many shirazes...today a cab. Lets all hail a cab!

Anyone with a clue on the 2012 shiraz grenache $50 down to $25? Have searched upthread with no luck, yet it feels familiar..

Is the 2012 BLACK MARKET DEAL Shiraz for $7.50 Austins 6ft6? Has anyone tried it?

It sounds like the 6ft6 shiraz. I've bought it before. Would describe it as easy drinking and smooth, but lacking a little punch/flavour. Good value for that pricepoint though.

So you beat me to the Witchmount Chardy review. So you are returning then? Just to clarify, you do mean the Olivias Paddock Chardy?

Yes rocket, both cases returned with no problems whatsoever in crediting. How can you go wrong with a policy like that, you can't. However, after such a great speil, i would have expected a hell of a lot better from the pair of witchmounts that retailed from 38 to 42. Crikey, the normal retailling wines that sell in the mid twenties i have bought (for $8-12) have seen a few stunners, namely willoughby park, glenlofty, maverick twins and sieber gsm.- so you are bound to get a dodgy or two. i look forward to your comments since we all inhabit different taste worlds.

Sale time, free shipping. Anything that is an obvious stand out?
I got the Arete 'The Road Less Travelled' Sauvignon Blanc 2012 a couple of weeks ago - very worthy, a different kind of sauv b that has some charddy undertones from the french oak.
