I told them i was after a good Cab Sav. No calls yet...

Agreed they're not very helpful. Explained that I'm in meetings for 90%+ of the day, so please just email me what's on offer. Nothing so far. So why would I bother going through him if I can just order myself via the website?

BTW my note said I bought it for $10. But now $17.95.
I was actually looking for the award winning shiraz but since it was all sold got the little brother.
Cruiser Elite please open a bottle and report back!
I think jk's $10 price closer to actual value - I gave 4 away yesterday - opened one to sample - so still have 7 pretty interesting gifts to dispense over next couple months.

penegal? cove? remember I promised you dudes a little gift next time I saw you?

Anyone have any ideas on the McLaren Vale shiraz (rrp $42) for $12.60 that's up?

I tried a couple of bottles of the Amelia Cab Merlot on the Easter weekend - impressive for a $8.50 purchase! Lucky we have a few in stock now!

As its a restock it is probably Mule Shiraz (made by Innocent Bystander).

I'm guessing that it's the Mule as it turned up in the mixed case v 8.0 along with some other tasty treats.

I too think it could be the Mule, of which I purchased a dozen.
As it is a 2014 I have not opened a bottle yet - don't see the point of drinking a 2014 red. I'll get to it in a few years from now.

I would still want to try one....from my many years of indulging, cough stays cough and doesn't improve. Just as well Vm products don't generally fit this bill.....well, none of mine have yet.

If you don't taste it how can know if it needs to go back, I am sure VM wont take it back in 8 or 10 years time.

If VM's still around in 10 years. :)
My practice, open a bottle soonest.
Should I get more?
BTW I have yet to return any purchase (from VM or others). Just can't bring myself to do it.

A 2014 vintage release almost 12 months later. Less than 12 months in barrel.
Is it GOOD or BAD.

Some research into Gateway Vineyard. Bekkers syrah fruits also from here but $110 a bottle!!
Mr. Riggs Shiraz fruits partly from here as well, rrp $50. So Mule is in good company.
However Bekkers and Mr Riggs current release is 2012.

So a tasting is certainly required for Mule 2014 to ascertain whether to buy MORE or PASS.
GO on open one and let us know. :)

Its from Innocent Bystander so very unlikely to be cough. Even their $20 wines are pretty darn decent.

Haven't tried any Innocent Bystander wine before but I am pretty certain they are decent.

A check on their website shows a similar McLaren Gateway vineyard release of 2014 Known Pleasures Shiraz rrp $60.
But Mule 2014 not offered for sale. What can be READ from this?

I would prefer this "Known Pleasures".
Kindly inform when it's on Black Market.

I'm not sure, but we purchased the 2013 from them last year. Maybe they changed the name... Their Mea Culpa shiraz is certainly divine.
