Vinomofo Wine Deals

If anyone ordered the west oz first time vineyard on VM chardonnay 2014 in the last two weeks, you are going to be for a great treat, had that and a Hungerford hill shiraz from gundagai last night with a mate and although the shiraz was absolutely stunning, 9's, my mate said the wild fermented chardy was quite possibly the best he has ever tasted. We also had the night harvest shiraz 2010, which for under a tenner is very good with a lot of airing, but no comparison to the other two. happy easter

I am outraged to report that I was also defrauded with a 2010 H.S

Last year I was unfortunate enough to get the reverse. They had the 2010 Hannah for something like $2.50 more a bottle. I bought a 6 pack but instead received the 2012. The box has absolutely no indication of the vintage, no wonder they get mixed up. I had a bit of a whinge, but as it was still an excellent wine, I kept it and they refunded the difference.

Was that the boutique Chardy Beefarmer? $38 down to $11?

Funny how the address labels state 2012 but the contents are 2010. Was going to ring and return as its not what I purchased, but the office is closed. Guess I'm stuck with a dozen 2010 :D

Well I went down and opened up the office today to see what had been delivered and I also appear to have been defrauded.

What is this world coming to when you order one thing and you receive something a bit extra? Almost as bad as buying an economy class ticket and getting upgraded to business. Don't know how they expect to keep customers with that sort of carry on.

As a gesture of good faith I will keep the wine though.

Anyone tried the Bellvale Pinot mof_ have advertised today?
a little background check suggests that albeit its a ten year old vine, it has won some important medals and obviously got acknoledgment. This has to tell you something about its standing in its class. if you read the speel, it is highly suggestive of this wine having an eighteen month window, which is bloody funny as a very good pinot can do to 10. it reads well .

At the vinomofo price it is very good value. I bought a case last year and it has treated me very well. Note it is sealed with cork and has a brick red colour and probably does not have a lot of life left, so drink up while it is still good.

Could be The Hairy Arm Sunbury Shiraz. All details seem to match.
