Vinomofo Wine Deals

Well I have been doing a lot of research (googling), ;) and the closest (rrp $38) is "A.Rodda Willow Lake Vineyard Chardonnay".
I have to go for lunch now so someone might follow up.

Geez I would be all over it if it was! :) Can anyone confirm?

Tasting notes to follow - last night quite unexpectedly turned out as a cabernet night with my one being the recent sandalford 2010 reserve. the first we had was a 2002 tahbilk which was past its best, but drinkable. next was a friends majella 2011 which was unbalanced. a tad too much oak, tannins a bit harsh but it was a tough year. Ronnie recently had a 2012 majella which he thought was absolutely stunning. i think he thought he was onto another beaut with the '11 but no such luck. So, to the sandalford. i loved it. not as heavy at the majella but the integration is magnificent. such a wine with class and finesse. it reminded me a little with its beautiful blending of wood, fruit, acidity, tannins, and aftertaste to the shelmerdine merindoc that i had two botts recently. just magnificently made. so no one should be disappointed with the sandalford. next tasting - the anvers warrior. Anyone had it?

I have had 2 of the Sandalford 2010 reserves over the past 2 weekends and don't really know what to think of it - while it is nice, mine don't even taste like a Cab Sauv - I left the second one to breath a bit longer and enjoyed it more.

I'd probably guess that it's not this wine. Alcohol on VM says 13.5. All references i found for this one say it's 13.0. Also you would think they would mention that Halliday gave it 96 points if it was.

Any ideas about the 94pts Margaret River Cabernet Merlot 2012 or the 93pts SA Malbec 2012 secret deals?

I've fairly sure the Malbec is the Bleasdale Second Innings, and thought the Cab Merlot could be either the Thomspon Estate Locum or Amelia Park, but the alc vols are wrong.

amelia park it can't be...thats a $29er..shame BUT considering i am not good as this guessing caper, i thought i'd try again to increase my skills and ... how does a hayshed Hill pitchfork cab merlot 2012 sound....i guess i will never know as the reviews for that one don't scream a buy. Might be a beaut, but you can't buy everything.

Agreed - it could be anything. The Amelia Park goes for 24.99 on DM, so I was being hopeful, despite VM always overshooting.

Then again, I will know shortly. As soon as I get my shipping code :D

Hayshed Hill rings a bell from a previous post somewhere back in the thread. It has definitely been on VM before

Confirmed as:

Bleasdale Second Innings Malbec 2012
Thompson Estate Locum Cabernet Merlot 2012

Looks like today's secret deals are Lindeman St George for the Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 and Hewitson Mother Vine Shiraz 2012.
Not because I am a wizard but because of some memory retention from reading previous postings. :)

Correct on Hewitson.

Yesterday's BMD Tempranillo 2013 was the Quattro Mano Raging Bull.

Kay Brothers Hillside?

I assumed Haselgrove Catkin but that seems to have gotten 96 points from Halliday
