My Kent Street package was picked up Wednesday and arrived today with AusPost.

I think AusPost lost the VM order .
Complained about it via Chat again, apparently AusPost is causing them alot of issues.

P.S. no $100 code in my email

Thoughts on that Howard Park cab merlot from anyone that has boomed? Cheers
Mine turned up today so even though it's a hot day I might pop one and see how it is. The strange thing is it is listed as $25 RRP, but Vivino has it as a 4.3, and the online sales of the wine seem very much more expensive: Howard Park Cabernet Merlot | Melbourne Wine House | Buy Online. Nothing in the current Howard Park portfolio, they have a Mad Fish cheapie and a Miamup version for around $30. Maybe this is the export version of that.

Is it labelled as Howard Park Margaret River Collection 2018 Cabernet Merlot? I went to the Howard Park 'unlock the cellar' event last year.... that wine was showing as rrp 120 for 6pk, reduced to $45 per 6pk on the day. You have to go to that event in person, no phone/online orders I think.

Sure is. I paid $126 less the $40 voucher, free shipping and then $30 credit for their shipping delay. So $56 for 12, makes it $4.60 each. And it tastes good, way better than the Katnook cab sav (including the replacement bottles after I sent the first ones back).

Similar story here. An order from 06/02 was delivered 09/02, but another one from 28/01 has been listed as "Shipping information approved by Australia Post" since 31/01. Contacted VM about it yesterday and they said it was with AusPost, and to let them know if it's not here by Monday.

This order has still not arrived, so I told VM and they investigated with AusPost. As with previous posters, I got the "label error" excuse (and $30 voucher).

"Unfortunately your order has been sent back to us by Australia Post due to an issue with the label printed on the box.

The good news is, we have now resent the wine with the correct label and so you will soon have your delicious vino in hand.

You should receive a new dispatch update and communications from Australia Post shortly."

This seems a very odd explanation - if there was an issue with the label, why was it not discovered sooner, rather than the box sitting with AusPost for 2 weeks, then only reported as an issue when VM asked them about it? I have recieved dozens of orders from VM to this address, did they suddenly forget how to print a label?

I have no issues with VM over this, very good of them to apply credit for what seems to be someone else's failings, it's just all a bit weird. I just checked again, and the shipping still shows "Ready for processing. It's either waiting to be picked up from the sender or ready for sorting at our facility."

Afternoon everyone,
I've been watching the wine forums for a while and finally got around to creating a profile.
Really appreciate all the comments/advice from regular posters.

Anyone know what the deal is with VM and deliveries at the moment? I ordered a case of sparkling last week and was informed that it would be delivered by their new partner (Home Delivery Services), but I'm now receiving tracking updates from Aus Post.

I've generally been pretty happy with Aus Post to date..... although they did lose a couple of shipments in the chaos leading up to Xmas.

Cheers.

VM have been moving to a new warehouse the last week or so. HDS notified deliveries to me have still been Aus Post.

Hi All!

I was considering booming on the Botham Merrill Wills shiraz (using the BIT40 coupon of course!) However, i did a random search on the wine & it looks like it's being sold at the ridiculous price of $28.90 per six pack with free shipping on Catch. The 2013 Cab Sav is going for the same price. The stock is supplied by Vinomofo so it seems legit. Here's the link in case anyone is interested:

I grabbed 2 x 6 packs of each - at $4.81 per bottle it's a cracking deal

There are a whole lot of Vinomofo offers on Catch, at which look like single bottle prices plus the usual $9 freight, but applying to 6/12 packs.

It's obviously an error, no coughing if the orders aren't honoured.

Absolutely. I wont complain if it's not honoured. Worth a punt though.
