Vinomofo would be glad to lose some of us

I opine that this thread was seminal to their early success and that they should remember that.
I further opine that public chat lists like this suck in a lot of silent lookers who quietly go off to buy the deals we find…we are
helping the 'fo , not hindering it's business model

Like you say this, and it may well be true, but you've gotta provide some evidence or an example for us to be working on here...
I agree with @Dr Ralph. I’ve been purchasing from them since the very beginning and have spent lots!
Less so in the last year (but still buying) and I was promptly removed as a VIM and broker alerts. This (annual spend) was confirmed as the reason when I asked.

Don’t get me wrong - I’m not broken up by this, but rather agreeing to the hypothesis that Vinomofo has no respect for customer loyalty.

I've got a $20 off code that looks targeted to go with the free shipping they are currently offering. If anyone wants it then PM me.

Not debating the price .. just quality of the wine .. I don’t buy wines on the basis of the biggest discount to RRP
Sorry not disregarding your quality comment as I have some of the 311 myself, more just the inflated "was price" they have.

Vinomofo is the best wine deals site on the planet. Good wines, real people and epic deals, without all the bowties and bs.

Looks like Hasselgrove The Lear Shiraz is back via this broker offer just received:

Hi there,

Luke here, your wine dealer at Vinomofo. I hope you're well.

Some wines make a big splash when they hit the Vinomofo site. This is no exception. I've answered a few calls on who this producer is, and it's the return of a McLaren Vale favourite.

If you know your Shakesphere, and like your big reds, then this "King" is for you.

1. Black Market Shiraz 2019 McLaren Vale, Aus

95 points - Ned Goodwine MW - James Halliday Wine Companion 2022

"It’s rich, full-bodied and brimming with luxurious McLaren Vale fruity-chocolatey notes. There’s some of the very best grapes in the region here, held together by a generous touch of French oak. Drink now or cellar to 2034. From experience, though, you’ll crack this out well before then." - John Clark, Vinomofo Head Wine Buyer.

Alcohol: 14.5 %
Cellaring: now - 2034

Cellardoor price is $90 per bottle. Vinomofo is $27.50 per bottle in six-packs.
(Normal Vinomofo price is $29.90)

So to.the Lear, I raise you a little. Having a Fo one from a way back, a group who were starting out with a MW on board. A group who had the product, the wine but did not know what to do with it.

I TALK the Brit crowd Thistledown. I AM DOWNING their 2014 TWO ROADS Barossa shiraz.Stunning wine. ONE of those out of the patch. A Fo wine that probably cost us all $13 but it is a beaut.

ANYONE buy any ?I reckon I have only a few left but body 9, flavour 9, complexity 8, lusciousness 9, no nasties whatsoever.

A GREAT fo one from the past.

Combining 100+ years of grape growing experience and a combination of traditional and modern winemaking practices, this producer's wines are among the best of Barossa Shiraz. They have supplied fruit to some of the biggest names in the Australian wine industry, and since 2000 have reserved some of their best fruit to produce wines like this one.

A touch of Viognier is the Northern Rhône recipe for greatness. It's a careful process and minimal co-fermenting of the white grape amplifies the colour and aromatics of the red. Every aspect of this crafting is hands-on, from the harvest and wild yeast fermentation, all the way through to the basket pressing. Only then can this delicious drop get a rest, seeing 20 months in seasoned French oak. The nose has a touch of floral character (thanks to the Viognier), with deep Shiraz fruit powering through accompanied by herbal notes, chocolate, licorice and leather.

Oak treatment: 20 months in 225-litre old French oak barriques
Alcohol: 15%
Cellaring: Decant to drink now until 2041

2. Ulithorne Paternus Cabernet Shiraz 2019 (pre-arrival) - South Australia
Cabernet (sourced: Coonawarra), Shiraz (sourced: McLaren Vale)
456856-1 copy
96 Points - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
5 Red Star Rated Winery - Halliday Wine Companion
8/10 Vintage Rating - Halliday Wine Companion
"Made from grapes grown in Coonawarra and McLaren Vale, it's gorgeously complex and enticing on the nose with sweet fruit richness combined with mixed spice, cedar, vanilla and smoky bacon nuances. The palate delivers excellent weight and power, as well as plush mouthfeel and silky tannins. Opulent and sumptuous with a lengthy delicious finish. (96)" - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Ulithorne are known for producing high-quality small-batch red wines using a minimalist approach to winemaking. This is their flagship wine and represents the absolute pinnacle of their range. The outstanding value here is obvious in both the quality of the wine, and the remarkable weight of the bottle itself.

In colour, it's a beautiful deep crimson. Aromatically, it's intense and seems to leap from the glass with notes of mulberry, blackcurrant and raspberry. The palate is fruit-driven and there is certainly no shortage. Packed full of ripe dark fruit like blackberry and blood-plum, there's some spice too - both pepper and cinnamon thanks to well integrated oak which, although elegant, is no doubt present. The tannins are silky and the finish is long. One for the cellar that will certainly continue to develop and evolve with time.

Alcohol: 14.5%
Cellaring: 2035

RRP: $85.00 per bottle
Vinomofo price: $29.00 per bottle
Exclusive price-drop
: $25.50 per bottle in 6pk! (limited time only)
3. Black Market Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 - McLaren Vale, SA
BOTTLE_FOTL_Ebeneezer_Shiraz
This winery is nowhere near your traditional style of producer - nor do they aim to be. Situated in part of the old Penfolds winery, they passionately craft top-class SA reds with absolutely no shortage of flavour or character. The unique and eye-catching labels are designed to tell a story, and have been described as short graphic novels (when it arrives, you'll see what I mean!).

With two years in French oak, this astoundingly textural and complex Cabernet is only now beginning to show its true colours. The bouquet is layered with notes of ripe plum and cassis, with hints of tobacco leaf and potpourri. The palate is lusciously rich and decadent. Dark berry and dried herbs take centre stage, framed by well integrated notes of cedar and oak spice which linger in its impressively persistent finish. A beautiful Cabernet that is ready to go now, and will continue to be for another 15 years!

Oak treatment: 24 months in new French oak
Alcohol: 15%
Cellaring: Drink now until 2036
