I am perpetually wrong on these questions, never the less, possibly the Haselgrove Switch GSM.

Wait for AC or Red Bigot to swoop in wit the correct answer...

Just a stab in the dark, perhaps the new vintage Ulithorne Dona.

mm possible - I thought the $12.90 sounded a bit low for it to be the 'switch', usually sold around the $14.50 or above. I also cant see Haselgrove as cult producer. Cult (ie. small batch/high scoring) definitely fits Ulithorne though

edit: I dont think it RRP @ $40 though? unless they jacked it up for $28 i think it was

Interesting at VM now - there are quite a few labels being sold "unmasked" where previous vintages were sold as black market. Prices are reduced from RRP but quite a bit more than before. Schild, Capel Vale, Anarchist, Hardy, Mule, Handpicked, Allegiance, Gapstead, D'Sas, Lou Miranda, Ulithorne, Pertaringa, Tomich Hill, Fox Gordon, Penley and Kilikanoon are all there today!

Perhaps the theory is to get you hooked on the wine, then make you pay close to retail when you want more. For wineries with a good product trying to build brand awareness without driving down RRP, this might make some sense.

Actually, scrap that - somehow I'm subscribed to the Singapore version of their mailing list (as well as AUS), all those offerings are there not here.

Boom for me.

First purchase in a while. Loved the '15 (edit: and looking at my notes the VM description of being able to lay this down for a while carries true)

I found Rochford quite underwhelming at their cellardoor earlier this year. Maybe if it was an "K" instead of an "H"...

I can't speak for the rest of their range, but I got some of the '15 from Langtons auctions at $29 each and have enjoyed them, they need a bit of time I think, planning on doing just that with the couple of cases I got of the '16

Plus every time I opened a bottle I would sing the 1994 smash hit 'Only to be with you' by Roachford...

Any idea what today's "95 point Chardy" at $25 per bottle is? 2015 Adelaide Hills, down from $60 to $25.

Has anyone confirmed this GSM yet? Looking for a GSM, just not sure what to try. Heard good things about Maverick twins, and Haselgrove switch seems to rate high.(been eyeing off the Switch 2015 elsewhere but at 19.99)

havent worked out the GSM but i have had a few of the maverick twins GSMs in the past and they are probably my favourite.

price point seems about right for Maverick but i recall them selling up recently so not sure if they are still putting out wine to VM?

i also think the spiel would be different if it was maverick.

Any idea on the VIM chardonnay?
