Vinomofo Wine Deals

Just don't type in Wozzamate as you will probably find a well matured, iconic example of a national treasure, something to enjoy with good food. This one shows great pedigree and woz made in a great year. The tannins have blended with the fruity wholesomeness leading to a highly recommended example. Shame there is only one to go around.

I had two yarra valley wines recently - the 2010 Elmswood Cab Merlot and the 2013 Warramate Shiraz in the one session. One of these was an absolutely stunning, complex wine and I can only guess due to no notes taken that it was the Warramate.

Start at the bottom of page 724, continuing onto page 725.

Page numbers arent too useful as the number of posts per page depends on each members settings. For example, this thread only has 184 pages so I cant possibly look at page 724. A post # would be more useful.

Good point - didn't think of that.

To previous poster: post #7240 was when this came up last, and discussion started. Worth reading the next page or two, as there was speculation as to what it was, but I don't know if anyone's actually bought/confirmed it.

Umm, am I missing something, this is page 734 right?

Oh, you can set it differently, I understand sorry.

I changed my settings to max number of posts per page; saves having to change page too often.

With regards to the often proffered "use the search to find the answer"...I search, get a list of results, click, and am always taken to the most recent post on this thread. Never at all useful for me.

That's because Google's indexing the thread using the default posts per page. If you look at the search results, the "page number" is embedded into the URL e.g.:
www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/.../vinomofo-wine-deals-53217-565. html <- the "565" corresponds to page 565. Since you only have 184 pages (after upping the posts/page), you'll always end up on the last page in the thread, since page 565 doesn't exist for you.

You'll need to manually compensate I guess - 565 would have posts 5651 -> 5660, so you'd just need to work out which page those fall on under your settings, and edit the URL in your browser.

Thanks for that tip! Now I won't have page forward so often.

That explains why my searches always seem futile - thanks AC
