Vinomofo Wine Deals

Oh dear - is this confirmed? Loooooved the twins.
Well that was a new years resolution down the ess bend...those maverick hillbillies whose animals are surely the reason why their GSM tastes so good
perfectly nurtured to that exact baume ......its what comes out of their boar mays that's the secret........under a tenner, that's going to be serious quaffing..

Oh Maverick....how I love thee....

Will give the 14 a miss. Trying to cut down as I have my first child on the way.....and still have a case of the 12 and the 13 in the cellar :)

Oh Rocket09, how I covet thee wine stash! When your lovely child enters this world - and you are told your priorities have now irreversibly changed - I will be there to help you out...!! Just don't come expecting a good deal, as I know you will be a sure sell!

Congratulations, and thank God. It's one of life's great privileges.

My best wishes to the three of you. Wozza

Anyone know what's the latest MR Chardonnay secret deal?

Can't find any matches. Oddly, email says 2014, whereas website says 2013. Where are you seeing "margaret river"? I can only see "WA" - if it's confirmed as MR, then that might limit the possibilities.

You're right it says WA. I'll edit my post.

Anyone know what's the latest WA Chardonnay secret deal?

It's the Willoughby Park Ironrock (I think). Wine Companion have the price incorrect ($45 on the Willoughby Park site), and the finer details like pH and residual sugar match. The clones used aren't completely Burgundy, but whenever does VM get that level of detail correct

Willoughby Park Ironrock matches - Our Wines

Oh no! Step out to go to the beach, and it's sold out. Fingers crossed that it comes back up again...

Kicking myself - should have recognised the $45/$22.50 price tags.

Edit: looking at the Penna Lane Wines Shiraz - Wine Companion says this is a 4* winery. Does Peter Treloar have another winery that's a 5 Red Star?

On beefarmer and Big Red's 3 Oceans discussion - I bought a case of the 2013 Shiraz.

As a point of reference, the case I purchased on the same day (26th Dec) due to the same recommendations arrived today (17 calendar days)

To be fair you should only count business days, not calendar days.

To true, my post was not intended to be a whinge - just a point of reference, it was not intended to come across that way.

It generally makes no real difference to me (within reason) if wine takes a few days or a month to arrive - like many of us I have more than enough other wine to enjoy in the mean time

I'll take up the whinge-baton here then, Steady. A case ordered on 24 Dec from Winemarket was all set to be delivered to my work address on 4 Jan, then... nothing. Called 8 Jan as the tracking status was hanging on 'with driver for delivery', and the courier rep said it'd be delivered early this week. Another call this morning delivered... the same nothing. Starting to worry for this little case of wine - if it's not completely gone to someone else, I'd hate to think it being out in the coming warm weather too long...

So, seems to be a problem with the courier, rather than Vinomofo, right? :)

In my case I think it is because I live in Tassie and pretty normal.

If you are referring to carwashhairs post it sounds like the courier and not Winemarket (definitely not Vinomofo's fault)
