I too picked up another Fox Gordon siblings Cab sauv case......a thorough examination by a trained professional such as your cat is the purrfect thing to do.

By the way, I don't think hes a Burmese, maybe a tonkinese? Two and a half years old? He looks great.

Close, but no cigar :) He's a 5 year old Russian Blue. I believe this breed dates back centuries to a cross between a cunning fox and a spoilt brat.

I keep being told that VM have no problems with deliveries and everyone is happy with them using Nexday. Ordered 12/11 and now told delivery is 30/11. Whilst some of the delay is the result of VM seemingly selling wine futures, at least half of the delay is with the courier. Unacceptable.

Yes it is a bit worrying, especially with the temperatures we are getting atm. I bought a case on the 12/11 and just got the email this morning that it is on it's way. I will really have to think long and hard about purchasing wine from the Fo over the coming Summer months.

I'm unsure what you think complaining about Nexday here is going to achieve. If it's truly unacceptable, then stop buying. Maybe complaining to VM might get some action? But for sure there's nothing that anyone here can do about it.

Have you tried called NexDay and (re)scheduling the delivery?

FWIW I've had a few delivered to my nearest ParcelPoint (saves me driving into work and carting them home by car). Since it's a newsagent, it's airconditioned, and at least the wine isn't baking outside all day (obviously doesn't help if it's been on a truck all day before being delivered, but that's a risk with any courier I guess)

I have the same concern. I don't know if it's Vinomofo or the courier company. But I do know that when I place an order they give me an indication of when it will be delivered and this has never occurred. Typical delivery time for me is 2 weeks, although I've had one order which took more than a month. I like cheap wine, but I don't like to wait for it!

It was the Pentley (well at least I hope it is) that I ordered on the 12th as well. Now told Nov 30.

Hmmm... sounds like it could be a courier issue. I ordered the Penley on the 16th and received it on the 19th.

Having read through previous posts I've seen that Vinomofo have read messages and responded to posts. So advertising that you have problems with there delivery method would appear to be smart. If others have the same problem then I suggest they do the same thing. Well done Rocket09. I've also just done the same. The more Vinomofo hears about this the more likely they'll do something.

i must say ive never had a problem with the courier service used although ive only bought half a dozen cases. usually a week from buying to arriving at my office. lucky me i guess!

Likely, this is a big part of it. But be very careful, some members here just don't like you suggesting that Nexday are anything other than the best courier company which has ever existed.

Whilst sometimes a bit slower than I would expect, I have to say I am happy with my courier - he always leaves the wine in a shady and cool spot and is the only wine courier I've had that does this. Also had a chat with him last week for a return - very friendly guy and easy to sort the return out.

their wines but haven't tried this blend
