Vinomofo Wine Deals

I hadn't seen your reply when I posted my question to Affal. The Singe Vineyard (I'm unsure whether it is a VM exclusive or not) isn't the same as the entry level Yering Lane pinot. So do you have a definite I.D on 59945?
There are no Yering Lane/Martingale reviews on the Sam Kim site. But he is sometimes slow to load recent notes.

Having now seen the Wine Pilot reviews, you are likely to be correct.

Interesting Wine Pilot quotes $58 RRP, but in the shops the standard price seems to be $21-24.

Martingale have 2 pinots, including a "single vineyard" at $45. Perhaps they have rebranded?

Will see what it's like when it arrives.

Yes. All that flight of fancy about baked cherry pie and poached rhubarb. Eventually, wine reviewers surely must run out of new similes & metaphors. How many imaginary tastes & smells should one assign a single wine? Like the reviews, the scores are semi meaningless : unless the reviewer's palate is very similar to one's own.

It's hard for them all to keep the RRP stories straight when there are so many "special" deals for Vinomofo and other merchants that may or may not be related to standard offerings.
