Apparently yours had free shipping because you bought with another product in the cart. Was told no free shipping as included in the T&C for St Henri which we all had 2 seconds to read when purchasing.

You can't hide T&Cs that contravene advertised goods & services. I've replied bringing this to their attention, otherwise it'll be a partial chargeback on the credit card (and a letter to ACMA or equivalent if I can be bothered). So sick of VM dodginess.

id rather pay the 9.90 under (slightly) dubious circumstances than not have the wine at that price. gotta pick your battles I say.

You don't know me very well. ;) Companies need to do as they say and be held to account.

yep - they should have included the exception and link to the T&Cs in the email for sure. but as far as egregious corporate malfeasance goes... not the worst I've seen this week.

Final Update: Shipping refunded after my email reply.

For anyone who reads this and got charged shipping, contact them and make it clear that they can't advertise one thing (free shipping sitewide) while hiding a contradicting condition somewhere else. The ACCC quote above should scare them enough to act. Also ensure you get a refund, not credit (not heard them trying this, but good to be aware of).
