Hi all.
I'm organising a trip to NZ soon, and will do one domestic flight, Queenstown to Christchurch.
As I'm VA Gold I could use some status credits and trying to figure out a way of booking a flight that earns.
According to Velocity, only fare classes Q, H, M, V, L, G, W, T on Air NZ domestic, discount economy, earn credits.
If I try to book a flight on the Air NZ website, it only shows the cheapest economy flights (mostly non earning).
How can you locate and book an earning flight? VA CSR suggested I book through Air NZ call centre, but I believe that involves a $60 service charge.
Will the more expensive fare classes eventually filter through? Is it just a matter of checking back regularly?
Not sure how it all works, and thought someone here may know.
Thanks.

I notice that if you link up an (Air)NZ international flight with a domestic in NZ (Air)NZ flight, some of those VFF SC earning classes do come up.
But other than that, I think if you come into NZ on a package, (think it was mentioned on here a while back), this also make some of the classes come up, that they do earn VFF SC.
And the more/most expensive fares on the (Air)NZ domestic website does not mean you will earn VFF SC class, I have checked, the last most right hand side column, you would think would have SC earn, but nope.
But everything changes from Oct this year though, when everything that was good in the VFF & (Air)NZ tie ins is thrown out the window, like dirritus!
Best of luck anyway.
Edit: oh, and one more thing, don't use Grabaseat.
