Velocity 20% bonus points on transfers offer - November 2023 to January 2024

Does anyone know if the manual transfer has to be from same card every month, or can be from different cards each month, to activate bonus? For example, manual transfer from ANZ month 1, Citi month 2, ANZ month 3.

I've just transferred some from Amex and the points appeared in my Velocity account instantly but with a date of 31 October so I may have to repeat just in case

Interesting, I've done 2 months manual from Citi but haven't received any email confirmation from velocity. Velocity account does show standard points were transferred.

I too have received a second month confirmation email.

(Transfer dates were 1 Nov (reported as 31 Oct), 3, 4, 6 and 11 Nov, 2 Dec (reported as 1 Dec) and 5 Dec.)

Alright guys, I'm confused. I thought it was only manual transfer. I've done the following:

• Transferred 96k Amplify to 48K VF + 20% bonus, on 24/11/2023
• Transferred 280k AMEX to 140k VF + 20% bonus, on 25/12/2023

Now for January, I have a Westpac Velocity card. This silly card does not accrue velocity points in the Westpac portal, there is a page in the portal with points/redemptions. It automatically transfers on billing cycle to Velocity.

So I'm about to hit my required $4k spend to receive 70k bonus points. Also on 7th Jan 2024 it will automatically send about 3000 points from spend across to Velocity.

But Westpac is not on the list of participating auto-transfer providers, even though they own three of the bank/brands on the list!

So I can't even do a manual transfer even if I wanted to, except over the phone, which might not apply?

It says I only need 2000 AMEX MR points for manual transfer minimum, so is my best option to go spend $1000 on AMEX again and do another amex transfer in Jan?

I don't think bonus will be awarded before the offer close date. Bonus Points will be allocated the member's Velocity account by 29 February 2024

It seems they will provide the point bonus in a single transaction. So bonus points will be received between 1st and 28th February (as 31st Jan is the last day).

No different with many frequent flyer promotions. Merely, they tend to credit earlier than the T&C's.

After all, you don't have to participate in the promotion if you don't want to.

I received the email advising I'd completed my second monthly transfer and now waiting until end of month before transferring the balance. Nice to get some more points in the bank
