My girlfriend and I are going to the Gold Coast this afternoon. I am flying Qantas (T3) and she is going on Jetstar (T2) (I got one of those cheapies in the opening sale before we were together and when she decided to come it was much cheaper to fly JQ through Tiger price beat). I have no status but she is a Qantas Club member. Can we go into the bigger T3 lounge or do we have to go into the Terminal lounge she is leaving from?

of course I should have added that we are flying out of Sydney T2 / T3 if that wasnt' obvious.

SHouldn't be a problem ... although they may advise her about the other lounge.

FWIW, I have used both the T2 and T3 lounges before departing from T1! (regularly the T3/T1 combo back in my SG days and the T1 J lounge only had 'postmix' beer.)

I am in T2 Q club at the moment. Girlfriends flight has been cancelled and she is waiting for rebooking. Disappointing they have sent her to gate 27 to sort out rather than in the club.

She is now on the scheduled 17.05 JQ484 I think it was. Much more comfortable sitting in the club than on the Tarmac for the past hour like many planes are.

Qantas does not have access to the JQ systems to sort it out, they were reluctantly given the ability to print boarding passes in the lounge but that is it, after all they are different airlines ;)
