Use of the iPhone app

Just a minor issue - I've just started using the app for iPhone. When I go to latest posts, I can show 50 (as per setting) but when I pull down to show the next 50 it won't load them, and I can't access them. Nor does it seem to "clear" the ones I've read from the list unfortunately (I can only clear all but then I lose the remainder too).
I'm on a 3GS btw.

Other thoughts
- it would be nice to have likes on the app version
- it's much clearer than safari on iPhone

Thought it was just me!
 
They are major issues with clearing read threads and also recognising that a thread has been read or not read. I also find the swipe to mark read function to be useless as well.

What I do is read then refresh the list by pulling down. Then load more if needed.

This is what I do too.
I would also love the "like" option on the App as its a pain in the YKW to browse, see something good and then have to open the full site on safari, find the post etc.
Can the AFF Fairy please grant this wish ? ;)

You pull up from the bottom to show the next xx number. Just tried it, no problems experienced.

That's what isn't working properly. The remaining threads don't load.

AFF really need to update the app... I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record here, but Tapatalk (the app that AFF has relabelled) used to be like that but not anymore. Surely this is another factor to support updating the app?

For me, doesn't work second time. Or third. Or fourth.

Don't get me wrong - the app is really good (I also like the tab for all threads you've posted in) but these relatively minor bugs are a shame.

OK, OK, OK, I hear you :)

I am looking at options at the moment. Tapatalk have changed their support model for customised Apps and I need to ensure that it is cost-effective and can support future versions of vBulletin. But, I do understand the need and something will be done.

Regarding supporting the "Like" function with the App. Unfortunately, this is not possible as the "Like" function in not a native vBulletin feature but an add-on which Tapatalk (currently) does not support.

Not sure if this should be a separate query, but has anyone else had issues viewing images in threads on the iPad with retina display. Sometimes they're so small no amount of zooming seems to help.

I haven't looked at Tapatalk for quite some time but wonder if there's some sort of resolution independence feature where a photo could be scaled somehow to better fit the screen, or at least adjust the image uploading options so you can still choose a low file size, but larger res, better compression?

Dunno, maybe a very first world problem but gets annoying fast.




Ok, having an issue with the updated iPhone app. Sometimes when photos are posted in a thread they don't show in the app. So usually I just click the button in the top right corner and 'load in safari' to view the photos. Now though the only option is to 'refresh'. Any other way to get around this?

It looks like the iPhone app has been "enhanced" ;)
 
Not having problems with photos, and in fact the way you can scroll through every photo in a thread (page) is pretty cool, but am having an issue with the signature. I've turned it off several time, only to find it turn itself back on again. Can anyone else replicate this on an iPhone?
 
[-]No signature for me[/-] I take that back. But I tried changing it and that did not work.
