Hi there

I recently stayed at the Tune hotel at KUL LCCT, the hotel is good enough for a overnight transit, when all you need is a bed and a shower in the morning.

You can see the hotel as you are walking down the steps from a Melbourne arrival, but it is about a 5 min walk from when you exit the LCCT.

The rooms are small to say the least, so if you are thinking of taking a cat, don't bother as you would not be able to swing it.

The bed was the same as could be expected at a 1st class hotel as was the bathroom facilities.

An excellent nights rest was had.

Air-con is an add on extra and is well worth the extra few dollars.

At check-in a RM5 (A$1.75) deposit is needed for the bathroom pack rental and RM10 for the keycard.

Refeshment facilities are provided by a independantly run cafe and a 7-11 store just outside the main entrance, there is a covered courtyard where can consume your purchases.

Buy your 1st beer from the cafe (RM8.50) as they will give you a frosted glass then buy subsequent beers from the 7-11 as it is cheaper.

A food hall open 24 hrs serving all sorts of food is 3 mins walk from the hotel, plus numerous outlets in the terminal which seem to shut about 23:00, except Maccas which is open 24/7.

Cheers
