My opinion comes from the 5th Assessment Report of the Intergovermental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC) ....

The IPCC has this to say about climate change

1. Scientific evidence for warming of the climate system is unequivocal.
2. Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree that climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities

Cherry picking data to obfuscate the issue can be done on both sides, like the 20 degree Celcius increase in average arctic temperatures seen at the start of the northern summer this year. Even the scientists say that most of this is probably a "coughe happens" scenario and are not running around like chicken little, but the fact remains that average air temperatures have risen by about 1 degree in seeming response to our increased CO2 levels, and are predicted to be another 2 - 5 degrees higher by the turn of the century.

So by all means poo-poo the more pessimistic models, or even claim that CO2 levels in the atmosphere are a red herring .... but don't insult us by claiming that climate change isn't happening. [And I note that you didn't ... but others did and you are now associating yourself with them].

absolute garbage not worth commenting on, this 'person' was a spruiker for a certain bank a few years back, but he didn't let that on to his listeners did he. Back to Sky, that right-wing rubbish is seen in VA's lounges as well. One night after a bit too much grape juice I started muttering back at it ...got a few looks and agreeing nods as well.
