This October Mr and Mrs Rooboy are flying to the US with the mini-roos in tow (aged 4 & 2). After a few days in San Diego, we plan to fly east to RDU to catch up with friends.

Any suggestions on domestic carriers with good in flight entertainment?

When flying with family here in OZ, DJ wins everytime with their kids channels on Live2Air!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I can't believe that I'm about to recommend AA, but if you can get on a 777 service then they have IFE on a loop system.

The other one I believe is jetBlue have IFE.

The other thing, depending on how far east your going, if you are on a QF ticket, then you may be able to use QF107 to go from LAX to JFK (and then use connecting flights from JFK) The one proviso with using QF is your ticket must start or end outside the US.

Virgin America also have IFE - probably considered the best in the US, but they only fly limited routes (and not out of SanDiego, only LAX or SFO), and probably not to RDU.

My recent experience with JetBlue leads me to recommend their IFE. There were 40 live tv stations and about 100 radio stations. If you use Jetblue make sure you check the cheap option of seats with more legroom. The IFE certainly helped our Boston-San Diego flight go quickly

It may be better to just book the most convenient flight schedule or cheapest option and use the money saved to purchase a portable DVD player to carry with you. At least that would be an investment in something that can be used on multiple flights.
