Transit in Singapore airport 7hrs

... I am wondering if I should bite the bullet and book flights that have 7hr transit times. I know it's a lot and I have done 5 hr transits in the past but not 7 for a long time if ever. Except I will be flying business so I guess I get to use the business lounge at least. Not sure if there is a time limit on that. But also could make it more bareable.. I heard someone mention to take a shower and get my clothes pressed etc.

What do you guys think?
My flight lands at midnight and the flight to BKK from sin is at 7am. ...
For only 7 hours at that time of night, the airside hotels may not be cost effective - currently running at maybe AU$140 for min six hours.

I'd try to get a couple of hours sleep on the inbound and head to the SilverKris lounge and try to find a place to nap there until maybe 5am whereupon I have a shower and breakfast before heading to the gate.

I am travelling in August. I wasnt sure if there was a time limit on how long i can be in the SilverKris Lounge. I also noticed a lot of the other lounges are closed / renovations, so not sure if that means the silverkris lounge is extra packed. I also wasnt sure if they will get annoyed if they found me napping in the lounge?

There is no time limit, the SG silverkris lounge is 24 hours, and it's fantastic. I have done 7-8 hour transits in there, and I just do normal work - meaning I save one extra day of annual leave. I actually think it's great - you basically get to work with free electricity, internet, food and alcohol, not to mention shower facilities.

I spent 6am to 5:30pm there on a Friday earlier this month. After a shower and breakfast, I found a booth in the lounge, connected the VPN and worked from there.

There were a few people sleeping.
