Total Solar Eclipse Australia 22 July 2028

Kimberleys 1100 local time
Sydney 1400hrs local time - all other capital cities will only get a partial eclipse. The % of eclipse obscuration is found on the obscuration lines (indicating % obscuration)
If you are off the Kimberley coast on that day, you may get 5 minutes of total eclipse.
PeaK dry season as well.

Interactive map to get the TSE time for the eclipse path

Path of TSE
The closer your location is to the centre of the path, the greater the eclipse obscuration and the longer the duration.

Already in my diary so I don’t book a winter escape to then post here…

😂

Belts and braces, I’ve just blocked out all of July 2028!

I've started planning and wondering the best way to see it presumably from WA - hope I don't have to hire a caravan at great expense and drive it through woop woop

There is a suspicious gap in Ponant's Kimberly scheduled cruises from 16-26 July that year. I suspect they'll have a 'special' advertised soon.
