Tell me about it!

For an 18 month period I have several day meeting at Ulldalla ... travel from Melbourne.

After some trial and error, via CBR was the most efficient.

Still made for long days though (but nice oysters for lunch )

Tell me about it... last weekend I did a 5.45am Saturday flight out of PER, then a 3 hour drive from SYD to Ulladulla'ish way, chilled... then back to SYD the Sunday morning to be back at the Hilton, for a 6am flight out of SYD back home to work on Monday!

Must be crazy?

Driving through the Kangaroo Valley (thanks for the controls of your car ) was a lot of fun!

I forgot about the truck who couldn't make the bend so he reversed into the guard rail then lots of helpful people had stopped so we zoomed past it all thanks to your driving.

Not crazy IMO.

Then again, I like to do the same thing, except in the air. :p

Congratulations to both of you!

Thanks!

If you can find Ulladulla you're welcome to visit although I do appologise in advance. We love the money tourists bring but we don't like you so take it as a compliment if someone does a drive-by yelling at you where to go.

Interesting.

I guess I better get used to them saying, "Go back to China/Japan, ya bl**dy <insert appropriate racist word here for a Chinese or Japanese person>".

Since I fly more than I drive, you can tell where I mostly end up going for holidays and tours.

Gee I inadvertently seemed to have started something here-well at least prompted a new thread.
Congrats to you both.
And yes I have been to Ulladulla. And used to play golf at Mollymook when i was a young fellow.

I know now where Mollymook is :D

Congratulations to you both. :)

I have driven past Ulladalla a few times and have had a game of golf at Mollymook many years ago....

Flashware and karens, congratulations. I thought there was something to a number of posts over the past couple of weeks from Flashware. Unfortunately I wasn't at AFF 3 to witness the birth of the relationship :(

Flashware, it's amazing what on will do in relationships. Perth to Burrill Lakes, now that is a decent trans-con relationship. As to who's going to move, that may be ad ecision that is a little early to call yet, but I am aware Flashware does have a recent start-up business....but as it is likely to be IT/computer based, depends on whether he needs to be in front of clients. Not sure what karens does and what holds her at Burrill Lakes (family?).

Also, I've only met Flashware...but look to change that in the future.

Oh yes, I've driven through Ulladulla and Mollymook plenty of times, as we used to drive Brisbane to Batemans Bay for Christmas Holidays with my godparents. May have even been to Burrill Lakes??

Thanks LW!

Definitely at AFF#4, if not sooner.

Well, I'm over in Perth on 14 - 16 March, but I wouldn't expect karens to be there. But at worst, we can celebrate your good fortune :D

I have a work trip coming up but no one knows when. We just know the where. And I have to be in Sydney for some training prior to the trip but again, no one knows when the training is scheduled. If I can be in Perth I will but would be a last minute booking due to the way my work operates..... I'm used to it but it is driving Flashware nuts my lack of ability to plan at the moment.
