I'm confused as to whether this is a question for me... so the answer is a frustrating NO. The replacement installer came in and tut-tutted about the way it had been installed in the first place and went away again making no promises at all about fixing it any time soon. We are travelling soon so it will cease to be our problem after that - at least until we get back. Thankfully for our housesitter the a/c in the living room still works.
