I am flying on VS, DL and EY (as a VA codeshare) as part of a larger VA status run in December and January which will take me from Red to WP over a period of about a month.

From personal experience, how long does it generally take for VS, DL and EY flights take to credit to your VA account? I know from my experience that SQ flights take about two to three days.

I am looking to schedule the trip so I will be able to get lounge access and the best points earn etc where required. For example, the first EY (VA codeshare) J flights will take me from PS to SG and I have a VA Y flight the day after arrival for which it would be nice to get VA lounge access with my newly earned status.

My experiences so far:

From SQ I've had some come through in 48hrs, other flights on the same itinerary took about 4 months. I have a feeling this might not be the norm though.
From NZ I've always had great turnarounds, SCs/points have always been there in about 48hrs (both on NZ and VA codes)
For DL for a set of flights on DL codes it reliably took 72hrs for each of my sectors to credit through.
VX is by far the worst, has never credited without followup, once taking about 3 months (and a lot of hassling), most recently took about 5 weeks (I submitted the retro claim at about 2 weeks I think).

I haven't travelled with EY or VS sorry.

VS flights took approximately a week for me. Sample size of 4 flights, but it just worked without me needing to do anything. I haven't flown EY coded flights for a while, but I certainly hope they're better than they were (sometimes the flight would credit without prodding, but that was rare).

My DL flights last year took about 3-4 days, and my recent EY flights were in after 3-5 days.

I have only experienced Velocity crediting with DL - the 3 days as posted is about where it was at.

Relevant to the thread title, I flew HA on the 22nd Sept and nothing has posted to my VA account at this time. Check-in agent assured FF number was entered, confirmed on boarding pass.

Flew Hawaiian 24 August , applied FF number via call centre at time of booking, submitted retro claim last week , recieved an email from Velocity advising it could take 6 months to credit

6 months! Surely that's not right.

Last couple of weeks SQ (4 flights) have posted the next day.

That's a joke surely? How are they going to apply the status credit posting date?

My EY flights - with VA Velocity as nominated FF program on EY tickets - have all credit between 24-48 hours of flown

VX and DL have credited for me <7 days. Can't remember exactly but I didn't need to follow anything up.

Just noticed a HA flight that I did on the 25th Sept credited today, however Jnr's hasn't pooled to me for the same flight. Unfortunately, I'm going to need to request ORC's for these anyway, as I'd booked OGG-xHNL-xLAX-SFO and the OGG flight was rescheduled to leave past the time of the following flight. The only option HA could offer to get us to SFO was direct OGG-SJC.
The flight we did with HA on the 22nd hasn't posted yet.

Earlier this year it took me six weeks and a claim to get an EY flight number on VA metal to credit to Velocity.

Keep ALL your boarding passes, it has got a lot better this year from those partner airlines, but I still get the occasional one that fails to post. Most of the time they all credit within a few days.

I've kept them all, but I suspect it's going to be messy. Out of 10 flights (5 mine & 5 family pooling), so far only 1 has posted to my account.

After me saying all mine credited within a couple of days, my hubby did some flights with Etihad a month ago and one flight is stubbornly refusing to credit, despite retro claims, emailing boarding pass and various phone calls...

So 1 more flight has since posted to my account as of todays date (flights were 22nd, 25th, 28th Sept.) I put in retro claims for the other flights today. The return flights on VA (LAX-MEL) on the 7th October, flexi fares upgraded with points to business, have not posted either. I should be Platinum again by now. Status credits are dropping off from 12 months ago :(

this just came through, 7 wks after flight

That's good news. So almost 3 weeks after you put the claim in? At least you didn't have to wait 6 months.

My VA LAX-MEL credited last night, 7 days after the flight. Now just waiting for the retro claims.
