Tigerair Australia Delays/Cancellations

TT527 (1410 hours BNE down to MEL, Friday 22 March 2019 with B738 VH-VUB) took off at 1445, only about 20 minutes late but thanks in part to a somewhat lengthy holding pattern above Tocumwal, arrival is unlikely prior to 1837, 62 minutes late.

The CBR - MEL TT668 (1620 hours CBR down to MEL, B738 VH-VUD) was in the sky at 1702, 42 minutes after scheduled departure so arrival is at 1824, 54 late.

Saturday 23 March 2019's TT663, the 0800 hours MEL - CBR did not become airborne until 0928 hours. A320 VH-VNH should arrive at 1021, 71 late. This is the fifth consecutive flight (starting yesterday afternoon with TT4781, the 1720 hours MEL - ADL) where this aircraft has been more than an hour late. It did a return trip to ADL, then MEL - PER and back overnight, and now this CBR.

TT533 (Sunday 24 March, the scheduled 1750 hours BNE down to MEL) was not airborne until 1951 so arrival is at approximately 2255, 100 late.

The late afternoon 1720 hours MEL - ADL, TT471 (A320 VH-VNG) is shockingly late with takeoff at 2256 hours meaning an post-curfew (presumably dispensation) arrival at 2329 hours, 314 minutes late.

Monday 24 is expected to see TT424, the redeye from PER arrive at 0750.

TT387 (Wednesday 27 March, the 1905 hours BNE down to SYD up up and away at 2015) has A320 VH-VND with estimated arrival at 2231 hours, 51 late.

The 2025 hours SYD - MEL did not take off until 2157 hours. TT279 has VH-VOY (B738) and should arrive at about 2315, 75 late.

The Sydney Airport tower evacuation of 20 key controllers and others from about 1140 hours on Friday 29 March with full operations restored by 1319 is causing significant delays with TT238, the 1305 hours MEL - SYD (A320 VH-VNG) having taken off at 1407 and arrival estimated at 1518, 48 late.

Expect late running for the rest of Friday.

On Saturday 30 March, the 0840 hours MEL - SYD (B738 VH-VUD operating as TT216) had yet to push back as at 0955 so will be more than an hour late arriving in the mainland Harbour city.

Later on Saturday 30 March, TT252 (B738 VH_VOR), the 1530 hours MEL - SYD took off at 1642 so delayed arrival should be at around 1755, an hour late.

B738 VH-YVA may recently have been transferred from VA to TT (unless it's a stand in today). It's operating the Saturday 6 April 2019 scheduled 0650 hours MEL - SYD TT206 that did not take off until 0828 hours. Arrival should be at 0944, 89 minutes tardy.

Sunday 7 April 2019 has TT241, the scheduled 1255 hours lunchtime SYD down to MEL not having become airborne until 1357, so arrival of A320 VH-XUG should be at around 1511 hours, 41 late.

TT384 (Monday 8 April, the scheduled 1850 hours SYD - BNE (A320 VH-VNR) had still not taken off by 1941 so will be at least 40 minutes late.

Just behind it was the 1940 hours down to MEL, A320 VH-XUG that instead of arriving at 2015 will be lucky to be at its allocated tarmac space by 2055.

Thursday 11 February 2019 finds TT206, the early morning 0650 hours MEL up to SYD not having become airborne until 0737, so arrival is at 0853, 38 minutes late.

On Thursday 11 April, the 1125 hours late morning CNS down to MEL (TT585 - B738 VH-VUB) is badly late, having become airborne at 1450, so arrival is not until an expected 1906 hours. As at 1834 it was still holding at the waypoint above Tocumwal NSW so it may be an even later arrival.

Later on 11 April 2019, TT279 (2035 hours evening SYD down to MEL, A320 VH-VNR) took off at 2158 so suggested arrival is 2311 hours, 61 minutes tardy.

TT206, the morning Monday 15 April MEL - SYD due to depart at 0650 hours was not airborne until 0741 with arrival likely at 0857, 42 late.

TT416 (Tuesday 16 April, the evening 1835 hours PER across to MEL in the sky exactly an hour later) has B738 VH-VOY and should arrive on Tuesday 17 at 0036, 31 late.

Wednesday 17 April 2019 has TT254, the 1645 hours MEL - SYD airborne at 1812 with A320 VH-VNR likely to arrive at 1927 hours, 77 late.
