Tigerair Australia Delays/Cancellations

On its next 3 July flight, B738 VH-VUD has TT252, the mid afternoon 1530 hours MEL - SYD that was airborne at 1725. Arrival should be at 1831, 96 minutes late.

VH-VNR is still behind VUD, with the former on the 1235 hours that was in the sky at 1729, so its arrival in SYD as TT236 should be at 1834, 274 late.

Even later on 3 July 2018, B738 VH-VUD continues to run close to the bone on TT471, the 1720 hours MEL - ADL that did not take off until 2205. Arrival should be at 2246, a short time before curfew. Timetabled arrival is 1815 hours.

TT472, the 1845 hours ADL - MEL was cancelled on 28 and 29 June 2018 while on Sunday 1 July 2018 it landed in MEL at 2312 compared with its scheduled 'at gate' arrival of 2035, so it's a risky proposition.

It is showing as departing tonight. It will need another exemption from the Federal Minister's delegate.

TT211, the Friday 6 July 2018 scheduled 0640 hours from SYD down to MEL has A320 VH-VNB. It was in the sky at 0737, so arrival is put back to an estimated 0900, 45 late.

TT247 on Friday 6 July 2018 is badly late with B738 VH-VOY on this scheduled 1350 hours SYd - MEL not in the air until 1750. Delayed arrival is forecast for 1903 hours, 218 minutes tardy.

During the evening of Saturday 7 July 2018, TT668 (1820 hours from CBR down to MEL that took off at 1923) should arrive at 2121 hours, 51 ;ate with B738 VH-VOY. This aircraft also featured in the previous post.

TT228, Monday 9 July's 1110 hours late morning MEL - SYD was not in the sky until 1236 hours. B738 VH-VUD should arrive at 1349 hours, 74 late.

There are many flights that I (and others) don't monitor as it's not possible to view all.

That said, I haven't observed QQ (Alliance Airlines) operating a TT SYD - MEL flight for some time. However on Tuesday 10 July, TT231, the scheduled 1030 hours SYD - MEL that took off at 1138 hours (F100 VH-XWT) should arrive at 1249 hours, 44 minutes late. FR24 suggests that this flight was also an F100 yesterday.

Today's unpunctuality is because the aircraft was delayed on TT357, the 0710 hours BNE down to SYD that took off at 0926. TT357 was also an F100 yesterday and is scheduled to be for the next few days, but two days ago it was a TT A320.

TT211 (Friday 13 July 0640 hours SYD down to MEL that took off at 0739, A320 VH-VNC) should arrive 45 minutes down at 0900 hours. Its next flight is TT700, the 0845 hours MEL up to CFS so that will be unable to depart until at least 0930 hours.

Later on 13 July, VH-VUB (B738) on TT243, the 1315 hours SYD down to MEL that was airborne at 1521 should be at its destination gate at roughly 1640 hours, 110 minutes tardy. Tt263, the 1725 hours SYD - MEL (where it did not take off until 1907 last night) began its run of late flights that have seen MEL - CNS - MEL - ADL - MEL - SYD all at leat an hour late, and time not being regained.

Now up to its seventh consecutive late flight.

Further north, TT641 (1545 hours mid afternoon SYD across to ADL,A320 VH-VNC) was in the sky at 1650. Expected arrival is 1815 hours, 45 late.

In further on the previous post, B738 VH-VUB is also delayed on its next flight, Friday 13 July's TT265, the 1725 hours SYD - MEL that was in the sky at 1949. Arrival should be at 2105, 125 late.

On a benign night weather-wise, TT535, the 1850 hours BNE down to MEL that took off about 40 minutes late at 1945 with B738 VH-VUD should arrive at 2157, 42 late.

A320 VH-VNK on northbound TT206, the 0645 hours from MEL did not take off until 0735. Expected arrival in SYD is 0848, 33 minutes late on Monday 16 July 2018. The aircraft had arrived from TSV at 0103 hours, 18 minutes late so no standout reason for the delay.

TT253 (Tuesday 17 July 2018, the 1725 hours SYD down to MEL that was airborne at 1822 with A320 VH-VNH) should arrive at 1950 hours, 50 minutes tardy.

On Thursday 19 July 2018, it is stormy around MEL (though not a consistent front) as TT565, the mid afternoon 1535 OOL down to MEL that took off at 1630 (A320 VH-VNK) looks to be arriving at 1857, 62 late. It had a minor holding pattern above Tocumwal.

TT263 (B738 VH-VUD, the 17325 hours SYD - MEL that was in the sky 68 minutes later) is set to arrive at 1956 hours, 56 late.

Later on 19 July, the northbound MEL up to SYD TT264, the 1825 hours (also with VH-VNK) should arrive at roughly 2123 hours, 93 minutes behind the timetable.

Notably it has lost about half an hour since its earlier flight (previous post) of TT565.

Later, VH-VUD on the MEL - CNS TT594 should arrive at 0020 on Friday 20 July, 70 late.

Friday 20 July 2018 had been very windy in SYD with airport gusts mid afternoon up to 78kmh, but by 2000 the winds had largely calmed. TT279 (A320 VH-VNH, the scheduled 2025 hours SYD down to MEL was yet to push back by 2201, so arrival will not be until at least 2330, 90 late.

The 2010 hours SYD - PER was ahead of the above, with VH-VNC taxiing as at 2202 hours. Tt755 is the flight.

TT644 (1800 hours ADL across to SYD) had taken off at 2042 with VH-VNF. Arrival is at 2249, 149 late.

With all the disruption due to strong winds yesterday at SYD, there may be staff out of position.

On Saturday 21 July 2018, TT501, the 0700 hours MEL - HBA did not take off until 0950 hours with A320 VH-VNB. Arrival should be at 1100 hours, 160 late. The aircraft had arrived in MEL at 0035, 10 minutes early on TT731 ex TSV, so not as if it had come in late overnight from PER.

The 0905 hours MEL north to SYD, TT218, took off at 1004 hours. VH-VNO should arrive at 1118 this morning, 43 late.

Tt231 (Monday 23 July 2018, the 1040 hours SYD down to MEL that was airborne at 1115, roughly 20 minutes late) has F100 VH-FKC and should arrive at 1248 hours, 33 late.

On Tuesday 24 July 2018, TT520 (A320 VH-VNF, the mid morning 1035 hours MEL - BNE that took off at 1117 hours) should be at its destination at roughly 1320, half an hour late.

Late on Wednesday 25 July 2018, TT279 (A320 VH-VNO, the 20205 hours from SYD down to MEL that took off at 2137) should arrive at 2251 hours, 51 minutes tardy.
