As a side note, QF has just started another round of sale for MEL<=>SYD,
the price is $85, cheaper than TR's $68+$5+$20(for 20kg) = $93.

I have found QF is usually very fast in responding to competitor's prices....

They have responded to SQ LHR sale within 24 hrs,
so is TR's MEL<=>SYD...

When will TR have $0 or $28 lead in sale fare ??

My bad. I apologise. (I thought I had seen different figures recently, I was obviously mistaken.)

You may have done. In November Qantas was best for On Time Departures, while Tiger was best for On Time Arrivals. Monthly factors can affect these things.

That was then, but in the latest figures Qantas won out. Given the "Sydney Effect" on performances, Tiger's performance may even fall once they start flying to SYD.
