The view or two from my "office"

Last night’s “office” was in the village of Arbanassi up above Veliko Tarnovo. Originally a merchant’s walled home to keep his family safe while he was away trading. Storage was on the ground floor (warehousing and animals), living quarters on the first floor. A third level was not usual.. This compound had beautiful gardens to wander and sit in, plus the outdoor restaurant. It was delightful.

Tonight’s “office” is MGallery Plovdiv, Bulgaria (aka The Emporium Hotel Plovdiv - MGallery Collection. Quirky and colourful room; I really like it. The shower, vanity and bar area is an island. There is a garden view from the window behind the bed (if I stand on the bed!).

My “office” for the next three nights, Kempinski Ciragan Palace Hotel. I have a view of the Bosphorus even from the bed! Also a large balcony.

This morning at 6:30 the Bosphorus River was very peaceful. At 3:00 in the afternoon it sparkled in the sun. I’m going swimming!
