Went there on Sunday for a look-see. No more than 20 stalls, even spending a long time looking I couldn't see you spending more than 30 mins there. (That was the food area)
Not quite the same as Flemington markets on a Sunday. I don't really know but at a guess there would be 200+ stalls selling things like clothes, household applicances, souvenirs, toys, car care products, luggage etc.

You’re welcome to come down to the Gold Coast, we have about 3 sets of spare clubs (assuming you’re right handed) and I’m sure I can arrange a game at Royal Pines if you like.
Unfortunately I am left handed.

Also, I'm in Brisbane this weekend for a reunion of my former regiment. Should have a spare hour or two if you do stay around and don't have something better to do. Getting in about midday friday and out 6:30am Sunday on Jetstar. That's going to be fun after Saturday night.
Where are you staying? I should be around for the weekend (changing a return BNE-SYD ticket on DJ for the second time) with not too much to do.

I think you know where I am staying....

I'm trying *class for the FT SIN do in January - 749 one way, 719 the other. Should be interesting. Oh, and sorry for quoting the whole post, this awkward from a phone. :)

Should help you re-qualify ;)

And I understand about quoting on the iPhone. Experienced that and it can sometimes take ages to delete the right bits ;)

I'm sort of hoping that they have a sale once they get regulatory approval confirmed. But still January might be a bit soon.

Flights are due to begin Dec 16th I think.

Unfortunately I am left handed.

Well, you could rent clubs if it came down to it, the offer’s still open regardless.

Same for medhead, if you want a mini golf do on Saturday, or at least a few beers/cokes and a chill out :)

SWMBO and are are taking $499 *Class flight MEL to SIN in February (reconnect with our 'parked' ATW)

I'm staying with mum about 8km south of the CBD. Seeing grandparents on Friday and a good mate has penciled in drinks Saturday arvo. Plus the do Saturday night so that leaves Friday evening and Saturday morning/lunch. Not sure about making it to the GC Sam, sorry to say.

Oh and I'm going to try to find this french butter at the west end markets on Saturday.

In terms of markets there used to be the riverside markets on a Sunday they were pretty big. And I think there are markets in South Bank.

Depending on how you are placed for time see if we can organise drinks for Friday evening then.

Mobile phones are dead! RIP....

My current contract is expiring next month and I want another 24 month contract for <$30/month that includes a mobile phone. I went looking for a mobile phone today and was totally shocked at the limited choices available. And I mean just a plain mobile phone (preferably Motorola) to make calls, send sms and possible take some pictures. It would appear that most mobile phones are designed to sell to 14-16 year olds.

I think I have settled on a compromise. Does anyone have a Nokia N97 mini? Even though it is a touch phone you can display a pseudo mobile phone keypad for phone numbers and text. Not really interested in using a tiny qwerty type keyboard.

Even i do not go well with those qwerty keypads, everyone is just copying BB. You can go for touch that is a nice thing Steven Spielberg did :D

Interesting observation in another post is that if you type in LOL in capitals it converts some characters to lower case and displays as Lol....

P.S it did not happen to this post.

not limited to lol

Did you alter the quoted post to display lol instead of LOL and Lol?

No, I typed that whole sentence in CAPS.

Sometimes it changes things to all lowercase, sometimes it leaves the first word in Caps, sometimes it leaves it all uppercase. No rhyme or reason that I have been able to see.

I AM SURE that there is some fancy algorithm that sometimes does funny things
