Absolutely agree! When I'm checking in at the Virgin Lounge! :p

I don't check into places very much at all on FB (and really, no-one need ever check in anywhere on FB at all), but when I do it is usually at airports/airline lounges. FB friends that are also AFFers tend to be mildly interested in that sort of stuff. :)

Never be too afraid to ask a question on AFF.
High tea in London got us places that will take several visits to London.
i called our young AFFer in Hollywood and it hasn't rained there for at least 5 months. He has fallen for our Costco store just based on him wondering what they will have on his next visit and he buys his gasoline at the lowest prices.

Maybe the author of this release got his figures wrong?
The Sheraton New York Hotel is celebrating its 50[SUP]th[/SUP] anniversary with a US$160 renovation.

Not sure how much $160 gets in NYC but I would wager not much.:D

Twice if they pay less than minimum wage :p

On the bus, spotted a car with the number plate: "I H8 TAX"

I am convinced manners have disappeared along with common sense.

I have never come across so many rude people in my travels. And they make the Aussie ferrals look tame in comparison....

Rotten exercising. :( Hurt my C4/5 (or 5/6) and getting ulnar nerve pain. Saw Physio on Tues & probably should have listened to her & not gone to work yesterday or done that really repetitive clicking, copying & pasting today.
Having a poor bugger me moment before my next Voltaren.

Makes me think of a burns doctor I know. Whinged about a burn near him once & he said to be grateful - if it were a much worse burn, there'd be no nerve endings to feel the pain!!

Exercising is bad for your health:

We are all born with a set number of heartbeats. E.g. mice use them up quickly and don't live long, elephants use them slowly and live a long time.
If you exercise, your heart-rate increases and you use them up thus shortening your life.

Ergo: avoid exercise and live longer.

The formality of the Japanese is breathtaking.........a bowing station attendant welcoming a bullet train into the station.
