Feeling like a true AFFer, accommodation booked for Hawaii May next year - before flight booked.
9 qf points promotion
6 months interest free on Amex card.
Will book balance of accommodation next week when dates released (on my own for the first week, group of 5 of us for 2nd week)
Award flight should come up over the next weekend.
We do get funny looks when we tell pax we have booked holidays 12 months in advance.

Very efficient! :p
Remind me again, what date are you in CBR?

Several made comments and as far as I can see the person in question has removed/edited some posts. There were one or two pretty nasty comments posted back though and I hope they are amended as well.
I’m over the debate altogether and just want to read about RF trying to keep northerners out of Tassie so he can have all the good food himself. :p
Surely some of the women if not men on this forum should suggest to admin that such posts by the OP are simply not acceptable and close to breaching the sex discrimination act and should simply be removed?

Yeah. Way ahead of you TheRealTMA. ;)

Maybe we can all get back to general stuff and leave the personals alone. Unless of course it’s about Rooflyer and his mexicatas fence.

Just been to the dentist for an extraction. Fun! But relatively easy as the tooth was no longer embedded in the jaw and was quite loose. Waiting for the anaesthetic to wear off now.
Do not poke that jelly thing. It has to stay there. Don’t rinse for 24 hours. Codeine was useless for mine but panadal and nurofen together worked very well.

I have missed something again. Probably for the best in this case.

only way to do it :) accommodation for Giraffe Manor for Sep 2018 was booked early June 2017. Antarctica cruise for Jan 2019 was booked in Dec 2017 and tickets for Hamilton New York for May 2019 were booked on Friday. :).

Suppose that means I shouldn’t have had that cup of tea a moment ago? I did let it cool to lukewarm though.
you should be fine - you just don’t want to disturb the blood clot, otherwise you get “dry socket” which is very painful. Normal eating/drinking is fine, although cold things to start with and nothing that is going to require chewing and put pressure on the clot. Dr FM had 4 wisdom teeth out last year and Ms FM 2 a few years ago.

You're tough. I have a badly broken tooth that needs to come out but I don't want to go as I don't want the local anasthetic. The funny thing is this tooth had root canal ~20 years but now hurts. Awful work.

I have a page of instructions from the dentist and they will ring tomorrow morning to check everything is ok. Have made soup but it will be lukewarm I expect.

Nothing like making sure it is in the system!
Its corp policy that the company will not be responsible for cancelled flights, lost deposits ect if bookings made prior to leave approval have to be cancelled.

Which is why I get narky at managers that dont approve leave for weeks, months. THEY think its so far in advance, dont worry about it but I remind them they cause unnecessary anxiety to people that are planners.
