At security screening in Adelaide the other day the scanner picked up something significant so security asked three people to line up as they said they shared the bag. He pulled out a very large chefs knife. Sigh.

If I had hair needing blow drying daily I’d be investing in a Dyson. They are worlds apart from a $20 one and is much kinder to the hair, especially as it dries so much quicker. If you’re blow drying daily, you very quickly damage your hair.

It’s like there is a substantial difference between a Dualit toaster and KMart job.

Is there? What does the Dualit toast taste like? I’ve only ever had the cheapie style. Isn’t it more about the bread?

It's usually a late decision to take daughter with me back to Sydney and they can add daughter to booking at check-in. Takes around a minute or two at most.

.

The one risk with this is that it can be that the flight is at full capacity for number of infants carried (which i assume is related to restraints and life vests etc). So technicallly you could show up at the airport and not be able to do this. Rare/unlikely, but possible. Although i dont doubt they’d just move you to the next flight foc.

No surprisingly. It just produced perfectly evenly toast every time. Nice and golden but without going too dry and crumby.

Made it to Abu Dhabi, good flight. I even watched a couple of movies (Darkest Hour and Dunkirk).Currently sitting in the 1st class lounge (VA WP got us in).

Used Pearl Assist to greet us, glad I did as we landed at T1, she pushed us to the front of transit security and delivered us to the lounge and will pick up for boarding.

Now to check out menu.

An hour and a bit transit in the lounge is just not enough time to enjoy!

I need 3-4hrs to indulge.

Time to settle down in one place?
Not yet. I have daughters school picked out near home in Sydney. Wife doesn't want to commute so for now taking daughter back to see grandparents and uncle.

That airfare I mentioned was to Thailand for Christmas and going back end January to bring them back. Just over $4000 (3 × $1100 + 1 + $800) is >50% on what I have been planning to spend on airfares each trip. Need to rethink plans.

So far so good. It'd be interesting to hear any stories of this occurring. We had seq #180 on Sundsy so guessing at least 6 infants.

In the above post is described the approx locations of spare O2 masks.
I wonder if at checkin passengers with infants without bassinets and are “lap infants” are seated near to an extra mask?

All safety videos that I’ve seen don’t refer to O2 masks for lap infants

Toilets have 2 masks for a variety of reasons. Infants only one reason

No idea about life vests and seat belts. I remember infant seat belts are distributed individually prior to take off. In EU infant life vests are distributed prior to take off I believe.

What make that Lamb Kabsa or anything on an airline for that matter authentic?. Maybe the lamb was slaughtered the traditional way? It obviously survived the sea voyage

Please don’t say because it’s been designed by a designer chef with a pony tailo_O

Just found a metal pin on the floor. Cylindrical in shape 16.57mm long, 4.86mm diameter.
Precise measurements I must say!
Did you round off from the third decimal ?
