The showers we used in EK F were just horrible - absolutely ZERO pegs to hang clothes on in male showers - the Ette said nowhere in female showers to lay anything out - I really don't know maybe I need a full guided tour to fully comprehend but should that be required?
One of the advantages of showering on board… plenty of room!

Many airport shower rooms aren’t air-conditioned… the SQ showers at Changi for example… and it can sometimes too humid to dry properly and you’re sweaty again in an instant. Which is avoided on board!

Yes I am glad you mentioned EK Lounge - TBH IMO nothing more than an uninviting barn - way too big and way to impersonal. Maybe it's just familiarity - or unfamiliarity - but I hate the Emirates lounge and do not think it is a patch on the much smaller and much more personal SQ TPR.
Understood - it took me a few visits to 1) Realise how big it really is in C, and 2) comprehend the facilities available.

In relation to 1) I had believed it to be half its actual size, not realising there are two formal dining areas, 2) casual dining/cafe areas along with the various bars/relaxation places dotted around.

Agree about the showers - way too humid with poor ventilation as well.

In upgraded lounges? And it wasn't about the available space or temperature it was finding somewhere to hang clothes or you just sat them on sink and shower wouldn't drain - you were standing in a puddle.

Should have added also that boarding direct from lounge a huge plus - BUT - gate was changed with ZERO announcement or notification to pax - that certainly never happens in TPR
