Maybe at 90%, but Dan likes to have people tune into to his announcements so I think we may not get much clarity as to what will/won't be given back when we reach 90% for a while.I can't recall reading when Victoria will grant freedoms to those unvaccinated business owners as I have a few that I want to visit, but they are vaccine hesitant.
I would like to see a gender breakdown of the 20-29 age bracket. I wouldn't be surprised if females are well behind males, the unfounded & ridiculous concerns/misinformation over fertility and vaccines is there.
In VIC males appear to have stronger levels in some of the younger age groups with females doing better in the older age groups.
You can see the jurisdictional breakdown on the government's health website.
Hmmm. Looking at the blue bars, the second one from the bottom clearly shows a higher number of males as does the third from the bottom. Though not sure what the percentages of the population are showing. I guess that's a reflection though that male population is higher in younger age cohorts pushing up the raw numbers. The grey bar showing the population that hasn't had a dose is longer for the males in those age ranges.
Interestingly the national one does show the population percentage number and has some middle aged ranges with slightly higher male vaccination rates than those for females.
Naughty slow QLD LGA’s getting a good smacking from our Premier!
Honestly it’s a nice refreshing change that there’s no more shrieking at NSW for spreading the virus everywhere and now it’s at our slow uptake of the vaccine. Great. Get it done!
Annastacia Palaszczuk zeros in on unvaccinated regions as shocking vaccine lag is revealed
The Queensland Premier has threatened regional towns with localised lockdowns if they do not radically speed up their vaccination rate, as it’s revealed one town won’t hit the 80 per cent vaccination target until June next year.
At its current rate, Cherbourg, a small town near the Wondai State Forest, about 250km from Brisbane, will not hit 80 per cent for another eight months.
Only 32.3 per cent of residents had received even a first dose, with the second dose rate sitting below 25 per cent.
She said the state’s borders would be open for fully vaccinated interstate travellers from December 17 – or when the state hits an 80 per cent double-dosed vaccinated rate, whichever comes first.
The Premier threatened lockdowns will return in regional areas if they did not get their jab rates up.

I was just reading that he's said that if you're unvaccinated, don't plan on waiting him out. Well into 2022.Maybe at 90%, but Dan likes to have people tune into to his announcements so I think we may not get much clarity as to what will/won't be given back when we reach 90% for a while.
Agreed - was just typing something similar. I don't actually expect to see Sydney Inner City to shift that much more, as a larger proportion of the 2019 ERP (Estimated Resident Population) in the CBD that was there is likely not here now, or not resident in that area, to be vaccinated against the denominator.Inner City Sydney data will be quite out. A huge number of its 2019 residents have abandoned ship
