Regional and remote parts of the country don't have pharmacies and Drs dotted around the place
I know of many friends in regional Jindabyne who had to drive 2 hours there and 2hrs back to be jabbed and repeat = 8hrs total, and waiting 4-6 hours to be Covid swabbed.
Its a reflection of the disparity between city and country re medical access.
Could they have pre-empted this?. Certainly. Its not as though the medical access disparity was unknown until now.
