We need to decide on a venue soonish...

Venue...as I said earlier, I would prefer the drinks and dinner venue to be co-located; I looked at the bars suggested above, and they don't seem to provide a dinner option apart from finger / bar food (I stand corrected of course as I have never personally been) and unless I'm flooded with other suggestions, can I suggest we head to King Street Brewhouse where we previously had a Sydney function (http://www.australianfrequentflyer....r-sydney-saturday-3rd-31684-2.html#post484479). It is slightly away from the real tourist part of Darling Harbour, and the prices of the meal / drink are not unreasonable. For those who want to come a little earlier eg between 5-6pm, there is also Happy Hour: $5 Pints | King Street Brewhouse

Having attended a previous SYD drinks/dinner, I'd love to say yes - but I'll have just been to CBR the previous week on a Conference and no clients have expressed an interest in seeing me in SYD this early in the year .

Perhaps I need some financial planning advice??

Now that I am "unemployed" and on a "fixed income".

I don't know if drinks and financial planning go together well??

1A is only International First. Dom I always fly front row left side on the aisle with a "shadow". I don't like to be "blocked in" OR having someone "step" over me.
