Sydney Domestic Business Lounge Covid scare

I find it clunky to get an alert that then says go into the app to your history and read the alert there.
I directly received SMS's.
Has anyone else ever received a SMS from NSW Health for a casual exposure?

Did you check out, failing to do so could have system assuming you were there for longer period therefore at higher risk?
I received SMS from "Service NSW" see the below thread. And, yes, I did check out.

The only people I know who have had an SMS from service NSW were deemed close contacts and required to ISO and that was back in the delta days.

I got one on the 8th of January from a check in at a shopping centre, only a casual exposure according to the msg which was monitor for symptoms. Aside from that only push notifications on the phone from the app for other times.

Id check your settings then, because in Dec i got pings in the app for almost every venue I was forced to check in at (Qantas Lounge, Coles, Chemist Warehouse, Pub) and never once received an SMS.

Then again maybe its because not a NSW resident, and they assume you may have removed app after leaving NSW. Or maybe that particular exposure date had multiple positives. It is not usual to get such SMSs.

Whether/weather is irrelevant?
In Australia weather is irrelevant. Those forecast are as good as toilet paper! And the worst part? The rain forecast. Every time I go out and it says 1 mm of rain is expected I end up being drenched in rain! Now I'm no scientist but I reckon getting soaked in rain requires more than a millimetre of precipitation!

Never received an SMS from ServiceNSW about COVID exposure and that includes the time I visited a medical centre and got multiple pings from the ServiceNSW app. Technically I'm also not a resident either (i.e. don't have NSW driver's license or other state issued ID).

I am not a NSW resident either. I notice I did not check out.

I have received this from early Jan, nothing to really worry about in my opinion, you probably walk past covid positive people everyday at the supermarket.etc. but would never know. I am triple vaxxed and refuse to 'lock' myself up in my house, so I don't worry about it anymore just getting on with life.

Checkins dropped from tomorrow in NSW (1 wk early) - well, unless the QPs decide to operate as Night Clubs 🥂

I’m currently in MEL and they’re enforcing checkins but didn’t last time I was here. I understand VIC is following NSW in reducing restrictions.

I received one in December when I was still actually in the lounge :)
